CVS Shopping Scenarios for 5/5 – 5/11!!

To get the biggest savings at CVS, you’ll need to take advantage of their ECB Deals AND use coupons.  Here are a few shopping scenarios broken down into separate transactions for this week to get you started.

{TRANSACTION #1}
Buy: (2) Sally Hansen Diamond Strength – psa $4.99
Use: (2) $4/1 Sally Hansen Nail Color, exp. 6/5/13 (RP 05/05/13) (minus $8)
Pay: $9.98 (product total) – $8 (coupon total) = $1.98 OOP
Get Back: $5 ECBs

{TRANSACTION #2}
Buy: (4) Eucerin Lip Repair @ $4.99 each = $19.96
Use: (2) $3/2 Eucerin Face, Hand or Body Product, exp. 5/25/13 (RP 05/05/13 R) (minus $6)
Pay: $19.96 (product total) – $6 (coupon total) – $5 ECBs (from Transaction #1) = $8.96 OOP
Get Back: $10 ECBs

{TRANSACTION #3}
Buy: (1) Bic Soleil Razor @ $6.99
Buy: (2) Nivea Men’s After Shave Balm @ psa $6.99 = $13.98
Use: (1) $3/1 Bic Soleil Disposable Razor, exp. 5/12/13 (SS 04/14/13) (minus $3)
Use: (2) $3 Off Nivea Men Post Shave Balm or (2) Shave Gels printable (minus $6)
Pay: $20.97 (product total) – $9 (coupon total) – $10 ECBs (from Transaction #2) = $1.97 OOP
Get Back: $3 ECBs + $5 ECBs = $8 ECBs

Buy: (3) Maybelline Baby Lips @ $3.99 each = $11.97
Use: (3) $2/1 Maybelline New York Lip Product printable (minus $6)
Pay: $11.97 (product total) – $6 (coupon total) – $5 ECBs (from Transaction #3) = $0.97 OOP
Get Back: $5 ECBs (Plus, you still have $3 ECBs from Transaction #3)
Sorry, the $2/1 MQ cannot be used on the Baby Lips! (Thanks to everyone who commented!)

Buy: (2) Maybelline Eye Shadow Duos @ $4.99 each = $11.97
Use: (2) $1/1 Maybelline New York Eyeshadow or Eye Liner, exp. 6/8/13 (RP 04/14/13 R) (minus $2)
Pay: $9.98 (product total) – $2 (coupon total) – $5 ECBs (from Transaction #3) = $2.98 OOP
Get Back: $5 ECBs (Plus, you still have $3 ECBs from Transaction #3)

Buy: (3) Kellogg’s Special K Cereal @ $3 each = $9
Use: (1) $1/3 Kellogg’s Special K Cereals, exp. 6/16/13 (RP 05/05/13 R) (minus $1)
Pay: $9 (product total) – $1 (coupon total) – $8 ECBs ($3 ECBs from Transaction #3 PLUS $5 from Transaction#4) = $0.00 OOP
Get Back: $3 ECBs

WHAT DID IT REALLY COST?
Transaction #1 = $1.98
Transaction #2 =
$8.96
Transaction #3 = $1.97
Transaction #4 = $2.98
Transaction #5= $0.00
Total of All Products Before Coupons or ECBs would have been $69.89!
Final Price OOP =  $15.89!

And, you still have $3 ECBs to use next week!

If you already have some ECBs from previous weeks to start this week’s transactions, your OOP will be even less!

Remember to scan your Extra Care Card at the in-store kiosk before you shop every time at CVS. You can usually scan it (2) or more times. You could get some CVS store coupons to save more!

    In transaction 1 you could buy 3 instead of two if you have CVS kiosk print out from last week buy $15 of cosmetics get $3 off. This could save even more
