I just want to give a word of caution: the Hartz flea products can be very harsh, and I have seen many dogs and cats have severe skin reactions to them. If your pet has sensitive skin or allergies, I would recommend you be very cautious in using these products. Just thought I’d mention it for anyone who hasn’t used Hartz before and is considering switching to save some money. Of course, your experience may vary. If you aren’t sure, ask your vet for a recommendation. My dog with sensitive skin has done well on Comfortis (available on by prescription), and my dog with no allergies has done well on over-the-counter Frontline. Hope this helps.
