I just shopped at Publix in Sarasota and the cashier only allowed me to use one MQ and one Target coupon on a BOGO. She stated her computer wouldn’t allow the 2nd MQ and I am only buying one item since the second item is free. Help! Should I contact the stores in my local area to see if they changed their policies on accepting 2 MQs on a BOGO? Thanks.

  • Amy

Sorry about that! You are correct:) It’s fixed now.

  • Jen

This list is saying it is expired and won’t let me click on any of the products to add it to my shopping list… It shouldn’t expire until tomorrow (7/11) correct?

  • TrueKati

Just so you know…when we do the notes to help with the final price…we include the conservative view of only using one Target Printable coupon (unless we print it and find that it does not have that One/Guest stipulation). That way you know you can trust our final prices :-)

  • TrueKati

**UPDATE TIME** I spoke with Corp Publix and there is no change to the MQ use on a BOGO sale! It was just a miscommunication at that store. I’m sure they will review the policy and make sure it is enforced correctly! Publix does have a great list of Coupon Usage FAQs on their site if you want to check them out here: http://www.publix.com/pages/Page44.do

I guess I should have put that the coupon on the Publix stocking spree tear pad found in publix was for $1/3. I think the math is wrong on the final price stated above. It says the final price is $2.75 each, but the price before the coupon was 3/$7. the price after using the coupon would be $2 each , correct??

  • Traci

I was just getting ready to post the same thing… glad I saw this before I did.. :)

  • Fsubarb

Thanks Kati for looking into this! I am definitely curious to what corporate says and whether they are definitely changing their policies or am I just a lucky one that has a “not so wonderful” store by me. :)

  • MandyB

Lays Kettle Chips are 2/$5. Stocking Spree coupons have $2 off 2 kettle chips, plus I found a peelie for $1.00 off 2, for a total of $3.00 off!

Does anyone know if there are any Publix in the Tampa area with the South Beach Bars on sale? We are in Wesley Chapel and they are not on sale at any of our stores. Thanks!

  • Pam

the Purina One Premium Cat or Kitten Food 2/10 is a great deal. Walmart sells a 7lbs bag for 11.68

  • Amy

It was found in stores back around April. Not sure if it is still available, but it would be found in the store itself, not the newspaper! Hope that helps:)

  • Traci

I had mine that I had printed a while ago…. probably from either couponsdotcom or smartsourcedotcom ….. I look through all the websites and pre-print coupons for things that I use just in case I see them on sale somewhere

  • Michelle L

I am interested in the BOGO Kraft Mac n cheese at Publix, but don’t know where to find the coupon. The posting says its in the “Kraft Foods Comida y Familia Booklet”,
But I don’t know where to find that. Did it come in a recent newspaper, or is it located in the store? Thanks,
    “New Couponer” – Michelle

  • Traci

there is also a $1 publix coupon off any 1 (6-roll or larger) Charmin coupon on the tear pad….. there are 2 diff. sheets on the tear pad … 16 diff. items total between the 2 sheets…

  • Traci

There is a $1.00 Capri Sun Product (10 pack) publix coupon tthat expires 7/22/2012 on a tear pad that I found at Publix.. …. it is part of the couponn booklet that you can get sent to you every quarter… it has diff. coupons in it then what the tear pad has on it…im sorry i cant remember the name of it but wanted to let someone know about the tear pad

  • TrueKati

Hi Barbara! Wanted to leave you an update. I did leave a voice message for my Corp Contact, she didn’t get back to me yesterday (but it was a holiday week) so I will most likely hear from her on Monday. I also spoke with a couple of store managers and it seems like they may be changing the policy to allow managers to decide whether or not to accept the MQ on the “Get One”. See this is only confusing here in FL when the first item is Full Price and the second is $0, outside of FL each item rings up at half-price. So, company-wide, it causes questions. {I also suspect that they may change the policy to only allow one competitor coupon per product, so if you had 2 Target coupons for a particular item, you would only be able to use one, but if you had 2 Target coupons for 2 different products, you could use both of those…this is just MY PERSONAL speculation though…} I will let you know once I hear anything!
**ALSO** The Assistant Mgr, Paul, at the store where you shopped, said he would honor your coupons if you came back in. He apologized for jumping the gun and could not find the policy update communication. So he thinks it was an oversight at his store.
I will update here on Monday after I connect with Publix.
    Thanks again! ~Kati

  • Amy

It looks like those coupons are no longer available. Hopefully you have the insert from 6/24 to use instead!

  • Amy

That was an insert that some areas received in the newspaper on 6/17. Hope that helps!

I can not locate the $3/2 Advil printable for couponsdotcom – is it gone or does anyone know a zip code it can be found under?

    thanks,

  • Thisdoesn’twork

The coupon for South Beach Bars won’t print. I clicked the link and it said I have exceeded my prints. This is the first time I have ever tried to print a coupon for that product.

  • NewCouponer

Can anyone tell me where I can find the ‘Target P&G” coupons that are listed under the Tide and Downy sales as SQ? I don’t have a P&G mailer or a Target mailer from 06/17/12. Thanks!

  • Amy

Target just recently changed the wording on their coupons, you are correct:( We can still get good deals though!

  • Bill

When you print 2 Target coupons the bar code number is the same. The 2 stores in Temple Terrace changed the policy several weeks ago, the bar codes have to be different or else you can make as many copies as you want .So you have to use the coupons at 2 different times or else get several rain checks. I always ask before I try to use a coupon if i Think that it is going to be a problem.Like the $10.00 off of Sweetbay coupon, I ask If they will take 2 coupons on 1 order or do I need to split up the order, just find a good cashier and stick with them, If you dont abuse the system they are usally pretty easy to deal with.I saw a lady buy 50 jars of planters peanuts the other day,I think That is wrong.

I had the same case on my rain check for Right Guard body wash. I was only able to use 1 target coupon. Good thing I only used 1 deal from the rain check.

  • Cassie

I just called three stores in Lakeland to see if they had heard anything, & each one told me as of right now, there has been no change in their policy. The contacts I have at Publix headquarters have said they have heard nothing about any changes, but as we all know, these things can be very hush-hush. Like Kati, I’ve emailed Publix to see if they will confirm any changes

  • Fsubarb

The Publix I went to was in Clearwater off of Sunset Point and Belcher(Beckett Lake). Very saddening!! I use the great deals on the pet foods to donate to shelters and try to teach my kids the value of giving back. I cn’t afford to do these things if they change their policies. :(

  • angel

I had the same issue in Spring Hill a couple weeks ago–seems Target coupons now say “one coupon per guest” before they did not and that is what they are doing at Publix now–I also came accross a manufacturer coupon that said “limit one coupon per guest”– that was a real new one!!

  • jendee

A cashier told me that Publix was changing their coupon policy. At that time, she didn’t know when it would be implemented but she was told it would be soon.

  • Renee

I just stopped at my local publix to use my raincheck for the BOGO Right Guard bodywash. I was planning on using my (6) $1/1 Target competitor coupons, and my (3) $2/2 MQ. So they would end up free! Anyways, when I went to check out, the cashier would only take ONE of my target coupons. I guess apparently, the target coupons say “one coupon per guest” in the fine print. I’ve never had Publix refuse to let me use multiple Target coupons before, or even when I actually use them directly at Target. The Publix store manager said it’s a new policy they just started following this morning. Has anyone else had this experience or heard anything like this?! Not sure if its just this Publix or what. Not liking all these new coupon rules! :(

  • TrueKati

Oh my! I will contact their Corp office right away to find out! I will comment back here once I hear back…be patient, since it was a holiday week! Thank you fsubarb! ~Kati

  • NATI

What publix did you go to? I hope this isn’t true or your right it wouldn’t be that great of a deal :(

Hi! I posted yesterday on last week’s Publix ad, but didn’t receive a response. Yesterday I went to Publix and bought the Italian Ice BOGO and the cashier refused to take two coupons. She said that Publix changed their guidelines and will only accept a coupon on the item you are actually paying for. I went to the customer service desk and she said that they received an email telling them that their register computers were going to be reprogrammed to only accept one coupon. Has anyone else encountered this? I lost out on about $5 between the Italian ice and Right Guard coupons(rain check) I had to use. If they don’t take both coupons, it doesn’t make it such a great deal! :(
