~ From Sissy

I am so excited right now! I went to Publix yesterday, and I spent $100.48 OOP (out of pocket) for so much stuff: 2 $50 Gas Cards, 4 Breyers ice creams, 2 Yogurts, 2 Hawaiian Rolls, 1 gallon of Milk, 3 boxes of cereal, 1 bag of salad, 3 pounds of apples, bananas, 2 pastas, 5# potatoes, 2 cereal bars, 2 cake mixes, 1 Bounty napkins (even though I bought the larger size on accident), 4 Ziploc bags, 8 Glade Twin refills, 2 Cover Girl nail clippers, 6 Cover Girl nail files. If you take off the gas cards…… everything was $.48!!
Thank you so much TrueCouponing for helping me get such great deals; and mostly for always being ethical in your match-ups!

Ok! I thought maybe that’s how it was figured, just wasn’t sure! I love those deals when you walk out with hardly any oop!! YAY YOU!!

Michelle….I count the $10 gascard savings toward my groceries; because you have to buy $50 worth of groceries to get the card. So basically the $100 comes out of my gas budget; and the remaining out of my grocery/toiletry budget. You could do it either way, but this way just makes more sense to me.

Awesome job!!! Question though: oop minus the gas cards would be higher wouldn’t it be ‘cuz they would only have been $40 each instead of $50? Guess I’m a little blurry minded today, but curious!
