I just went shopping at my local Publix. I bought the Lugi Italian Ice that are BOGO. I had two $.75/1 coupons to use. The cashier refused to take both coupons. She said they are only allowed to accept one coupon on the item that is actually being paid for. I went to the customer service desk and the young woman said that their computers are now programmed to not accept them. I asked when it changed and she said recently, but couldn’t give me a date. Has anyone else encountered this??

Because they probably didn’t realize the size on the coupon. But if you knew it was for the wrong size and did it anyways, then that is cheating. Not very Christian-like Makes all of us couponers look bad and that’s when they change the coupon policies and don’t give out so many high dollar coupons. PLEASE COUPON HONESTLY!

As long as YOUR Publix considers Sweetbay a competitor, you can use it. Each Publix has a list of which stores they consider their competitor. You can ask for it at the customer service desk. It is usually determined by which stores are in a five mile radius. Hope that helps!

NOTICE: I just posted a few minutes ago about the “Enjoy the City” coupon books. I made a mistake and I wanted to correct it right now before I mislead anyone.

I said “there are SIX $5.00 coupons – for Winn Dixie in the “Enjoy the City coupon books.

That was a mistake.

There are only FOUR $5.00 off $30 of food at Winn Dixie (which I use at Publix).

I am sorry for the mistake. My only excuse is that I stayed up too late cutting coupons. LOL

YES! You can use the $10 coupon from Sweetbay at ALL Publix Food stores in Florida. Publix stacks their coupons. You can also combine that $10 coupon with Manufactured coupons – and their in store coupons. Saving you TONS of money. Then to even go further with it – I had a $5.00 off “Enjoy the City” coupon which is another coupon that allowed me to take $5.00 off of that as well. I went shopping and got $282.00 of food – for just $28.22.

I was thrilled!

I want to remind everyone that “ENJOY THE CITY” coupon books are still on special. I can’t tell you how wonderful of a deal this is. It is saving our family TONS of money. The coupon is for $5.00 off $30.00 of food at Winn Dixie – well I don’t have a Winn Dixie cose to me – but Publix takes these coupons with NO problems.

I have bought enough of these coupon books to have the coupons for the entire year (they are good until June 2013). I highly recommend them. Remember Publix stacks coupons. We do not buy anything unless we have coupons for them. My husband and I only have $52.00 a month (not a typo) for food – so we have to be VERY careful on what we buy. We praise God for this store – because they have tons of BOGO items every week. (no I don’t work for them – lol).

I was over joyed at m publix here in Pinellas Park – because they took the $1.50 coupon. So I used the manufactured coupon and the in-store coupon. We have 28 jars of mayo! Stocked up for a Long time and gave the church lots of it too! Wonderful!

I have a little questions or maybe it is a clearfication…but in the Sunday paper there is a $10 off of $40 coupon for Sweetbays…my Publix excepts Sweetbays coupons, so can I use that coupon…I have never used a coupon like that (that wasn’t a Publix coupon).

Couponsdotcom has a $1/1 MQ good on any T.G.I Friday’s Frozen Snack, exp. 7/8/12. I was able to print 2, so that brings the cost on this week’s BOGO deal to $2.20 each after (2) $1/1 MQs. Sorry, don’t have direct link to coupon and I can’t find it on their site, but I’ve got mine printed and am using them tonight.

Have you gone to a seminar yet? it’s free and this would answer a lot of your questions. they list the multiple coupons so you know ALL the deals that are available. You can get some pointers in the New to couponing section that might help as is provided an explanation of everything on the site

PS your over thinking this and driving yourself crazy. The last line is the Best deal that you can get with the coupons provided which will produce the lowest cost.
If you check the print out section you will see a sheet that gives you the best prices for items. the shopping carts are for stock up and the true deal is a lower than ususal cost or a money maker and and extra good deal.

Hey everyone, if you don’t have the $2/2 Purina Q in the SS 6/17, you can go to the SS 4/29. They have a $1/1 Q! So if I am not mistaken… you can buy 2 and use 2 MQ and they will still equal the same $.90!! Right?! Did I just do this right?!!!! I am so pumped!! I did it!!!

In the Publix SmartSavings coupon booklet, there is a B2G1 for Idahoan Potatoes (mashed or casserole) & it is a SQ. This would make the price per box $0.67 if my math is correct!

I saw a Target printable coupon for Jell-0 Buy 3 get 1 free. Wouldn’t that apply to Jello sale above? Deal would be buy 4, use Target coupon save $2 and then use 4 MQ @ $0.60 each to save another $2.40 for a total OOP of $3.60 or 90 cents each?

The Sweet Inspirations is a Booklet. I found mine up front in my Sweetbay store. Most of the coupons expire on 6/30/12. Hope that helps!

I have several questions: Do I understand correctly, that if an item has a ‘true deal’ or ‘shopping cart’ that I should buy enough of that item to last 12 weeks?
My confusion comes when an item may have ‘true deal’ or ‘shopping cart’ but you have multiple coupons listed.
For example this week: Sweet baby rays, there are 2 coupons $1/2 or $1/3…..It has a shopping cart and says to use the $1/2 coupon, final price .75. BUT what if I have the $1/3 coupon….would that item still have a ‘shopping cart’.
I think it would be soooooooooo helpful if you could say something like stock up price (SUP) is anything less than $$ at the end of the matchup. Back to the sweet baby rays (SUP<.85) that way depending on what coupons we have, we can still know if an item is a SUP.
Many items listed have multiple coupons; so it is so hard to tell if that item would be a stockup price (SUP) regardless of whether or not you have it marked with a true deal or shopping cart. It would be great if everyone had all the coupons listed to get each item at the lowest price, but that just is not reality.

If you will go to the top of the page and go the the
“Coupons” tab, you will see a drop down bar. Go to “Regional Differences”, and
look for your newspaper. Click on the
date in question. If your paper did not receive the coupon, it will be crossed
off the list. For example, the Tampa Bay and also the Orlando area did not receive the Chinet Coupon. If you will print out the “Regional Differences” each week, and
put it in the front of your weekly coupon folder, it saves a LOT of time
searching! Hope that helps!

Publix has a display in the store with individual coupons, its where the progresso broth coupon was and it has a 1.50/1 any hellmans product 22oz or larger, making the mayo .21c I found this coupon on sunday and snagged a few!
