for each bag. So, if you buy (4) bags and use (4) store coupons…that
is (1) coupon for each bag purchased.

Stacking is when you use (1) store coupon AND (1) manufacturer’s
coupon on each item purchased. In today’s newspaper in the SmartSource
coupon insert, there is a coupon for $2/1 Purina Beneful Dog Food (any
size bag). This coupon is a manufacturer’s coupon, and therefore you
can “stack” this coupon on top of a store coupon.

For each bag of dog food you purchase, you can use (1) store coupon AND (1) manufacturer’s coupon.

Publix accepts their own store coupons, of course, and many Publix
stores accept Target store coupons as a competitor’s coupon. If your
store accepts Target store coupons as a competitor, you can use a Target
coupon. However, you can still only use ONE (1) store coupon per item
purchased.

Publix coupon policy does not allow multiple store coupons

I can find the coupon policy that we received at the store level and look through it to see if there is something that I can post to clarify this…. but to be honest…. you could ask 10 managers of 10 different stores the same question and you would get 10 different answers…. even with the new coupon policy it seems everyone interprets it differently even though it is printed in black and white

I think the coupon in the spring gatherings is a manufaturer’s coupon, not a store coupon so I don’t think you can use both! Would have been a nice deal though!!!!! I stocked up on those last time they were bogo and the sesame ginger is very good:)

This so confussing because I have had this same issue at a few of the Publix stores in my neck of the woods and they {managers} say absolutely NO you can not use both – Publix and Targetcompetitors in same transaction!!!!!! Plus when they shove the printed policy in ur face to read – it is confussing enough to sound like they are right………… Traci, I hope you r right _ can you get something in writing for us that are having trouble with this or the naMe of someone in corporate that can clear this up for everyone? I am not clear on this dog food coupon situation. I printed both the target and publix coupons to save $2/1 and was planning on buying 4 bags and using 2 target and 2 publix coupons. I just read publix coupon policy on their websit and it states that you can man q and publix/ competitor but not 2 competitors. But we dont have a man q. They are both store coupons….. Can you use both? I am planning on going today. I guess I can ask at customer service. I have just never come by this issue and if traci is correct that is a huge, huge money maker!!!!!!!

traci is absolutely correct i also do that at my publix if you stack a target coupon with a publix that is fine but you can not stack a target with a winn dixie. so sorry traci for someone scolding you because you are correct.

First of all I dont appreciate basically being “scolded” by a complete stranger about something that IF I didnt know the policy would have been an honest mistake.
Second, I work for Publix and it is NOT against policy to do that…. that is to use a competitor and a Publix store coupon on each item as long as you abide by the terms of each coupon

Hey Traci, I’m sure you didn’t realize it, but you can’t use two store coupons on the same item, and a competitor coupon is a store coupon. That’s just part of the learning curve of couponing:) If you have not gone to one of the workshops, you might want to because it really helped me!

Stacking a competitor coupon with a store coupon is against the coupon policy and unethical….it makes all couponers look bad! You can only stack a manufacturer coupon with either a Publix OR a competitor coupon.

I bought 2 bags of the Purina Beneful 3.5lb dog food that is on sale BOGO at Publix priced at $5.39 each…. I used 1 of the $2/1 coupons from the “Publix Paws” website and 1 of the coupons from the Target website on each bag. If I am correct that is a $2.61 MM before you have to pay the tax for every 2 bags you buy…. a definite PLUS!!!

Im in the Orlando area and i got the $1.50/1 Q ….. stinky for me!….. maybe it was just my SPECIFIC area though. Or is it possible they only put out a certain amount of the $3/1?

If you will go to the top of the page and go the the
“Coupons” tab, you will see a drop down bar. Go to “Regional Differences”, and
look for your newspaper. Click on the
date in question. If your paper did not receive the coupon, it will be crossed
off the list. Or if it came in a different value, it will be listed in orange. For example, the Tampa Bay area got the $1.50 coupon , but the Orlando area got the $3 coupon! If you will print out the “Regional Differences” each week, and
put it in the front of your weekly coupon folder, it saves a LOT of time
searching! Hope that helps!
