Usually on holidays the manufacture’s do not put coupon inserts inside the newspapers. That has not held true for the holidays earlier in the year…but for this weekend, Labor Day, there will be NO coupon inserts. Since you will not be rushing around to get your newspapers…instead, go outside and plant some flowers with your kids!
If you are a current subscriber to the Tampa Tribune, you can call: 813-874-2863 or 800-282-5588 Mon-Fri 6 am-5 pm; Sat 6 – 10 am OR go HERE to “manage your subscription” and choose between 2 options:
1. Donate the cost of those held papers to News In Education (a program that provides newspapers for use in local classrooms**)
2. Place a hold on your paper delivery (which extends your subscription by one week)
I had to create a new account using just my last name, address and email. I then chose the “Stop Date” of 9/5/10 and “Re-start Date” of 9/12/10 for my Sunday Only subscription. Then I checked the “Donate Papers to NIE” button and “submit”. {I figured I would keep my Daily subscription coming that day in case there is a good coupon inside the newspaper itself}
**News In Education (NIE) is a International program that supplies newspapers to classrooms (including HomeSchool Classrooms) FREE of charge. The Tampa Tribune NIE department makes learning with the newspaper interesting and fun.
